Policy on Abuse and Aggressive Behaviour Towards Staff pdf icon PDF 160 KB

The report provides details of the proposed policy to support Front Line staff working for Solihull Council directly and through our Contract Partners when encountering negative behaviour from service users.

The Cabinet Member for Regeneration Housing and Environment;

 

(i)  Agreed to support the implementation of Negative Behaviour Policy

(ii)  Agreed to support the promotion of the policy on the council website

(iii)  Agreed to support the promotion of the policy and non-tolerance of negative behaviour when the new collection vehicles are in service

(iv)Agreed for review of the service after six months of implementation of the Policy

(v)  Agreed for Councillors to be provided with information regarding single sided and double sided movements.  

5.

Designation of Langley Hall Park Public Open Space as Langley Hall Park Local Nature Reserve pdf icon PDF 165 KB

To seek formal approval as the landowner to designate Langley Hall Park public open space in Olton as Langley Hall Park Local Nature Reserve (LNR).

To pursue external funding streams wherever practicable to implement future landscape and biodiversity enhancements, and to support events and activities to promote the LNR.

The Cabinet Member for Regeneration Housing and Environment:

(i) Agreed the formal designation of Langley Hall Park public open space

   as shown in Appendix 1 as Langley Hall Park Local Nature Reserve under the  

   provisions of the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act 1949 (as

   amended)

(ii) Endorsed further pursuit of external funding streams wherever practicable to

  implement future landscape and biodiversity enhancements and to support
