Purpose:

To update Cabinet Member on the outcome of the consultation with all key stakeholders on the draft SEND School Place Commissioning Strategy

Decision:

RESOLVED:

The Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Children’s Services, Education and Skills agreed to approve:

(i)  The amended Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) School Place Commissioning Strategy attached at Appendix B to the report;

 

(ii)  The consultation with stakeholders on a proposal to relocate the sixth form of Hazel Oak School to Solihull College, Blossomfield Road Campus;

 

(iii)  That officers develop and consult on proposals to create additionally resourced provision with the outcome of the consultations considered by Cabinet Member before commencing the required statutory process; and

 

(iv)   That officers consult on proposals to formally close Widney Spld ARP and Lyndon HI unit.
