Councillor Hawkins made a deputation in regards to agenda item 4 – Flood Investigation Report.

To notify Cabinet Member of the findings of a formal investigation into flooding that was experienced on May 27th 2018 across Solihull, under Section 19 of the Flood and Water Management Act 2010.

RESOLVED

The Cabinet Member:

(i)  Noted the contents of the attached report and the findings of investigations at 11 locations across the Borough.

(ii)  Agreed to receive an update report in November 2019, detailing work undertaken at each of the affected locations over the forthcoming year.

Biodiversity Net Gain Consultation pdf icon PDF 3 MB

To approve arrangements for responding to Defra’s recent consultation on biodiversity net gain.

Decision:

RESOLVED

The Cabinet Member:

(i)  Noted the publication of the consultation by Defra;

(ii)  Noted the draft response to the consultation as set out in appendix B of this report, and;

(iii)  Agreed that completion of the detailed response be delegated to the Director for Managed Growth & Communities in consultation with the Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Environment and Housing.

That, pursuance of Section 100A (4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the press and public be now excluded from the meeting for the remainder of the business to be transacted, on the grounds that there would be disclosure to them of exempt information.

Development of a Business Case for Sherbourne Recovery Park
