To update Cabinet Portfolio holder for Bereavement Services on the ongoing review of the service and to seek approval for changes to our policies and procedures which would ensure consistency and fairness in various aspects of our operations.

·  The removal of ‘lawn’ from grave deeds in part of Widney Manor Cemetery as detailed in Appendix A.

·  The defining of standard grave sizes as detailed in Appendix B.

·  A cap on the advance purchase of burial plots as detailed in Appendix C.

The Corporate Landlord Asset Framework pdf icon PDF 179 KB

1.1 The purpose of the report is to provide an update on progress of the Corporate Landlord programme and present the proposed supporting Asset Framework.
1.2 The Asset Framework sets out the strategic objectives it will deliver and the policies that will support the Corporate Landlord and the rest of the Council including roles and responsibilities.
