REVENUE AND CAPITAL MONITORING 2022/23 AS AT 31 DECEMBER 2022 To update the Cabinet Member on how the
Portfolio is performing against the approved 2022/23 –
2024/25 Medium Term Financial Strategy (MTFS) in the current
financial year alongside setting out any new challenges that are
emerging for the revised MTFS for 2023/24 –
2025/26. Additional documents: Decision: The Cabinet Member RESOLVED to:
(i) Endorse the 2022/23 revenue and capital financial monitoring forecast as at 31st December 2022; and (ii) Note the Portfolio’s progress against the latest 3 year savings targets in the Medium Term Financial Strategy (MTFS) as at 31st December 2022. |

Consultation on Planning Reforms To inform Members of the recent Government
consultation on planning reforms and to seek approval to the
Council's intended response. Additional documents:
Decision: The Cabinet Member RESOLVED to: (i) Note the Government’s consultation on reforms to the planning system; and
(ii) Delegate authority to respond to the consultation to the Assistant Director for Growth and Development, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Climate Change, Planning & Housing. Such response shall be based upon the draft set out in appendix D to the report and be amended in light of the comments made during the Cabinet Decision Session.

Brownfield Land Register The purpose of this report is to inform the
Cabinet Member of the review of the Council’s Brownfield Land
Register (BLR) and seek approval to formally publish the fourth
update of the Solihull BLR Additional documents:
Decision: The Cabinet Member as part of the review of the Solihull Brownfield Land Register RESOLVED to:
(i) Update the entries on the current Register to reflect the changes set out in Appendix A to the report; (ii) Add the sites identified in Appendix C of this report to Part 1 of the Register; and (iii) That officers develop a list of brownfield sites that may be suitable for renewable energy production and/or storage.
