Decision:

Apologies for absence were received from Councillor J Fairburn, for whom Councillor G Slater was substituting.

Decision:

No declarations of pecuniary or conflicts of interest were received.

Decision:

No questions were received.

 

A deputation was received from Mr. Lachman Bhambra regarding internet service provision for the Berry Maud Estate.

To seek approval to formally publish the third annual review of the Solihull Brownfield Land Register

The Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Climate Change, Planning and Housing:

 

RESOLVED:

 

That as part of the review of the Solihull Brownfield Land Register:

 

(i)  To approve the entries on the current Register to be updated to reflect the changes set out in Appendix A to the report;

 

(ii)  To approve for the sites identified in Appendices C and D to the report to be added to Part 1 of the Register; and,

 

(iii)  Since the report was prepared there are two changes that were verbally updated at the meeting:

 

-  Site BLR/057 at 354 Stratford Road, Shirley has been granted planning permission for 48 dwellings.

 

-  Site PR20 at Wyevale Garden Centre, Barston Lane, Barston has commenced development

As a result, Appendix A - Summary of changes to entries on the current Brownfield Land Register were approved to be updated as follows:

 

o  Amend BLR/057 to confirm that planning permission has been granted.

 

o  Amend the status of PR/20 from ‘No change’ to include an ‘end date’ to reflect that planning permission has been implemented.
