Annual Complaints & Compliments Report (Adults Social Care pdf icon PDF 174 KB

To meet the requirements of the Local Authority Social Services and National Health Service Complaints (England) Regulations 2009 and provide information and analysis of 2020-2021 complaint & compliments activity and related performance data for Solihull’s Adult Social Care & Support Services

Decision:

The Cabinet Portfolio Holder endorsed the content of the Annual Complaints and Compliments report 2020/21 for the Adult Care and Support Directorate.

5.

Solihull Exploitation Reduction Communications Campaign pdf icon PDF 193 KB

The purpose of this report is to request CPH endorsement of the proposed campaign
and associated resource commitment

Decision:

The Cabinet Portfolio Holder:-

1.  Endorsed the proposed approach to rolling out communications across Solihull; and

2.  Approved the allocation of approximately £15,000 from the Adult Care and Support Exploitation Reduction Reserve to fund the initiative.

Adult Care and Support Performance Progress Quarter 4 2020-21 pdf icon PDF 225 KB

To update the Cabinet Member on the 2020/21 year end annual outturn for Adult Care and Support (ACS) performance progress across a range of national and local adult social care performance measures.

Decision:

The Cabinet Portfolio Holder endorsed the report and the actions being taken forward.

7.

Covid Funding July to September 2021 pdf icon PDF 266 KB

To set the requirements for the usage of the Infection Control and Testing Fund.

To obtain approval for the use of the discretionary elements of the Fund.

Decision:

The Cabinet Portfolio Holder approved the allocation of the Infection Control and Testing Fund as set out in within section 4 of the report.

8.

Exclusion of the Public and Press

The meeting is likely not to be open to the public during discussion of the following items because the reports contain exempt information as defined in Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972.

Decision:

The Cabinet Portfolio Holder did move that the press and public be now excluded from the remainder of the business to be transacted, on the grounds that there would be disclosure to them of exempt information as defined in Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972.

9.

Mental Health Community Services

To seek approval for the commissioning of a set of services to support people with
mental ill health in the community, and to help them to maximise their independence.

10.

Housing Related Support for People with Learning Disabilities

To seek approval to tender to replace the current Housing Related Support contract for adults with disabilities delivered by Bromford Housing Group, which ceases on the 31 March 2022

11.

Approval of the Sexual Health Treatment and Prevention Services Extension of the Contract up to 31 March 2023

To note the two year extension to the Umbrella Sexual Health Services contract with the current provider.
