Parish Councils

Parish and Town Councils are the most local level of government in England. Parts of the Borough of Solihull have parish or town councils, whilst other parts of the Borough are unparished.

Parish/Town Councils are independent of Solihull Council, although they normally maintain a close working relationship with us.

Parish and Town Councils Charter

The Charter sets out how Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council and Parish and Town Councils can better work together where there is shared interest and better working through partnerships will benefit local people.
