To confirm the appointments of Chairman and Vice-Chairman for the Municipal Year 2022/23.

RESOLVED:

That Cllr Butler be elected Chairman and Cllr Hogarth MBE be elected Vice-Chairman for the municipal year.

To receive any apologies.

To receive declarations of interest from Members in accordance with the Code of Conduct.

The Chairman did declare that the press and public be now excluded from the remainder of the business to be transacted on the grounds that there would be disclosure to them of exempt information as defined in Section 12A to the Local Government Act 1972.

To consider a complaint of inappropriate behaviour reported to the Council by OLA, a Private Hire Operator licensed by this Authority, against Mr Ali.

To consider if Mr Mahmood is a fit and proper person to be granted a Private Hire Driver’s Licence with this Authority.

To review the private hire driver’s licence granted to Mr Nisar, in light of the Suitability Policy that came into force on 1 April 2020.
