Addressing Recreational Use of Nitrous Oxide This report is presented to update the Health and Wellbeing Board on the range of actions being taken to address nitrous oxide use.
Nitrous oxide is illegal to give away or sell for its psychoactive effect. However, its legitimate use means that it is easily obtainable, and sales are difficult to regulate through Trading Standards.
Nitrous oxide use in young people is of an increasing concern locally and nationally. There are health and social harms linked to inhaling nitrous oxide that necessitate mitigation through public health interventions

Adult Social Care Discharge Fund 2022/23 This report is to advise the Health and Wellbeing Board of the introduction of new government funding to support hospital discharges from December 2022 to March 2023.
