This report is to seek Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Health and Adult Social Care approval for the new Birmingham and Solihull Dementia Strategy 2023-2028 2023-2028 and the accompanying action plan for 2023-25.

1.  Approved the Birmingham and Solihull Dementia Strategy 2023-2028 and the accompanying action plan for 2023-25; and

2.  Delegated responsibility to the Director for Adult Social Care to work with relevant health partners to implement action plan refreshes as necessary over the life course of the strategy in order to deliver the ambitions set out in it.

This report sets out the proposals for tender of two services:
1.1.1. reabling care at home for people being discharged from hospital (known as Home Discharge Service)
1.1.2. reabling care at home for people at risk of admission to hospital or of needing long-term care (known as Early Response Service)
