i. To endorse the 2019/20 revenue and capital financial monitoring forecast as at 30th September 2019; and,
ii. Note the Portfolio’s progress against the latest 3 year savings targets in the Medium Term Financial Strategy (MTFS) as at 30th September 2019. |

Low Carbon Energy Framework – Update Report To update the Portfolio Holder on progress of
the Low Carbon Energy Framework and present a high level programme

RESOLVED:
i. To approve the proposed aim and scope for the Low Carbon Energy Framework;
ii. To agree the proposed next steps highlighted under paragraph 4.13 of the report; and,
iii. To receive a further update report in April 2020 on progress made for the Low Carbon Energy Framework. |

Draft Single-Use Plastic (SUP) Strategy To share with Cabinet Member the draft
Single–use Plastic (SUP) Strategy - developed to ensure the
Council plays its part in reducing the use of SUPs. Additional documents:

i. To approve the Draft Single Use Plastic Strategy as detailed in Appendix 1 of the report; and,

Brownfield Land Register To seek approval to formally publish the
second annual review of the Solihull Brownfield Land
Register. Additional documents:
Decision: The Cabinet Member for Climate Change, Planning and Housing
RESOLVED:
That as part of the review of the Solihull Brownfield Land Register:
i. The entries on the current Register be updated to reflect the changes set out in Appendix A of the report; and,
ii. The sites identified in Appendices C and D of the report be added to Part 1 of the Register. |

charges for the monitoring of Section 106

RESOLVED:
i. That a schedule of charges for monitoring Section 106 agreements/obligations be introduced for applications submitted from 1st January 2020 based on the fee levels set out in paragraph 4.8 of the report. |
