Hampton-in-Arden Parish Council is undertaking a review of the Neighbourhood Plan which was adopted (or ‘made’) in 2017 according to the Neighbourhood Plan Regulations (2012). The Parish Council is reviewing the  Plan to take into account the revised parish boundary and local planning policy changes being progressed through the Local Plan Review.

The Parish Council were required to undertake a consultation on the Pre-Submission Draft Neighbourhood Plan prior to submitting it to the Local Authority. Consultation was held between 1^st February and 22^nd March 2023. This report sets out details of the Neighbourhood Plan and the response to the consultation. The Council submitted informal comments as part of the consultation and this report seeks to endorse these as the formal comments to the Parish Council.

This report sets out an update to progress on the Council’s renewable energy approach, alongside setting out the plan for the next steps to help identify how we can encourage uptake of renewables within the Council and beyond.

The work seeks to identify preferred approaches to renewable energy, to enable identification of opportunities, to be confident in promoting the opportunities to stakeholders and to accelerate uptake across the Council.
