Mrs Hatt-Cooney made a deputation to the Cabinet Portfolio Holder. Details of which are outlined below.

 

Nature: Deputation to ask the Cabinet Portfolio Holder to consider the wider context, severity, and risk to public safety of flooding in the Langfield Road area of Knowle; prior to the report on our earlier petition being received at that meeting.  

 

Object: To ask the Cabinet Member to recognize the need for ongoing involvement of Council officers in the resolution of the same, due to the imminent risk to the safety of the 188 households who risk being stranded and without access to emergency services.

• L81 on Blackford Road
• L06 on Barn Lane, and
• L79 at Whitefields Road

The Cabinet Member

a)  Noted the School Crossing Patrol service update.

b)  Approved the removal of school crossing patrol site L81 at Blackford Road in response to changes in demand.

c)  Approved the proposed redeployment of the existing school crossing patrol site L06 from Barn Lane to Wagon Lane as shown in Appendix B, and

d)  Approved the proposed redeployment of the existing school crossing patrol site L79 from Whitefields Road to Dingle Lane as shown in Appendix B.
